The Amazon Echo Dot (2nd Generation) is a dual-band Wi-Fi, voice-controlled device that connects to the Alexa Service to play music, make calls, send and receive messages, and control various compatible smart home devices from WeMo, Philips Hue, ecobee, and Wink. Featuring an array of seven microphones with Noise Cancellation, the smart assistant recognizes and responds in an instant to every voice command starting with the word “Alexa”. Using Bluetooth or the integrated 3.5 mm audio jack, the Amazon Echo Dot (2nd Generation) connects to speakers to play music from Prime Music, Spotify, and Radioplayer. The device’s cylinder-shaped body is colored in black and has dimensions of 32 x 84 x 84 mm.
